Happy birthday dragonfly with flower white DL card -
Day 82 of my 366 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
I am carrying on the "monochrome" theme and have just made this birthday DL card which has turned out better than I thought it would!
I wanted it to have some texture so embossed the front of the card using a scoring board at 1/2" intervals. To make sure the topper was in the right place I closed the card and stuck it to the inside flap through the aperture.
I used Collall All purpose glue as it allows you some time to correct any mistakes!
Once I was happy with where it was, I then glued the panel to the front so that it now just looked like a normal DL card. I had previously cut out the "Waterfall frame" in white and thought it would look like a window so glued it to an piece of card which had the same size aperture as the card, I coloured some parts of it in co-ordinating colours and attached it to the front of the card using Stix2 thin foam pad strips.
I felt that it needed something else, so used the "Happy Birthday" topper (in white with silver foil) and edged it with pink alcohol marker.
I am really pleased how this card turned out and you can buy this card on my website here
